Meeting Minutes 1/20/18
The January 20th 2018 annual meeting was held at the Erskine Lake Club House in Ringwood, NJ.
The meeting began with the introduction of our newest club officer, Elissa Ehlin. Elissa has taken over the role of Public Relations/Vendor Coordinator for the club.
The 19th Annual Coal Mine Cruiser Classic will be held July 11-14 at Rausch Creek Off Road Park. Registration for the event will be opening soon.
Mark Woytovich announced that an overland style trail ride is being considered for CMCC with the help of Ben from the Keystone Cruisers. The ride would leave from Rausch Creek, visit local sites and arrive later in the day at Anthracite Off Road Park. Discussion is taking place with AOAA to possibly utilize the west property for overnight camping and additional wheeling for the overland trail ride.
There was talk of possibly having two wheeling days offered at Anthracite for CMCC 2018, organization of trail leaders would be needed.
The Treasurer report was submitted by Jon Held.
For the first time in club history we have profited from CMCC with a gain of $1,400. Currently there is $8,400 in the club account.
The operating cost of CMCC 2017 was $7,700. The cost of CMCC 2017 was considerably lower than the past years mostly in part due to the cost of T-shirts and catering. Less T-shirts were ordered to avoid excess stock and the new caterer was less expensive than those used in the past.
Jon announced that admission to our 20th annual event in 2019 may be free if funding of the 2018 event goes well.
Rausch Creek has increased their prices of admission to $50 a day, their yearly membership has increased to $20. Bothe drivers and pasengers are requeired to be members to access the park.
